Christian Nodal, Ricky Martin, Marc Anthony: The Baja California Concert Promoter Behind Their Shows Is Among Firms the U.S. Sanctioned in the ‘Mayito Flaco’ Network

The promoter that booked Christian Nodal, Ricky Martin and Marc Anthony to play Baja California is on the list of 25 companies the U.S. Treasury sanctioned on Sept. 29, 2026, in its action against Ismael “Mayito Flaco” Zambada Sicairos’ Los Mayos faction. Infobae reported this on Oct. 1. Treasury says Conciertos y Espectáculos Inhouse, which does business as “In House Espectáculos,” is owned, controlled or directed by Tijuana businessman Marco Antonio Moreno Gómez Santelices. The artists are not accused of anything.

What Treasury alleges
According to Treasury’s Sept. 29 release, Moreno and Carlos Villela Gómez Santelices are Tijuana-based associates of Jesús González Lomelí, whom it calls a high-ranking money launderer for the Sinaloa Cartel. Treasury says the two men run “a network of security, real estate, and entertainment companies that also launder money for the Sinaloa Cartel” and for René Arzate García, “La Rana.” It names ten companies it says Moreno owns, controls or directs. Conciertos y Espectáculos Inhouse and another firm, Festivales Artistas Mobiliario Asesoría, are among them.
The concerts
Infobae says the promoter staged shows at Arena Valle de Guadalupe, a 10,000-seat venue in Ensenada’s wine country. ZETA reports Nodal opened the arena on May 26, 2024. Infobae lists the acts that followed:
- Carín León, Ricky Martin and Banda MS in June 2024
- Los Aguilar in July 2024
- Luis Miguel in September 2024
- Los Ángeles Azules in November 2024
Infobae also says the firm, then called “In House Entretenimiento,” put on 2022 shows in Tijuana and Mexicali. Those featured Maná, Alejandro Fernández, Grupo Firme and Gloria Trevi.
In October 2025, Los Ángeles Press reported that Moreno organized Marc Anthony’s Oct. 25, 2025, show at the Todos Santos polo field in Valle de Guadalupe. A civic group, Por un Valle de Verdad, had demanded the concert be suspended over land-use and environmental concerns.
Another Moreno firm
On Oct. 1, Los Ángeles Press reported that another company on Treasury’s Moreno list, the security firm Inteliproof Efficient, sold drones and surveillance technology to Baja California’s state prosecutors. Infobae says the promoter’s last Facebook post is dated Dec. 31, 2025. For travelers, see our Ensenada and Rosarito safety guide.
